At the G8 summit in Italy, he was snapped apparently checking out the perfect curves of a young lady.
And French President Nicolas Sarkozy (54) was looking on in amusement… Oh là là, Monsieur le Président!
So who was the lady in red who caught the eye of Obama – or should that be O-BUM-a?
Her name is Mayora Tavares, she is 16 and she comes from Brazil.
Mayora was at the G8 summit in Italyas part of the J8 – a group of 53 people aged between 14 and 17 who have been meeting in Rome since the start of the week. The group was there to discuss how the lives of young people around the world can be improved.
After they presented their results and ideas on Thursday to their senior counterparts, the delegates had a group photo with them when Obama (47) was snapped.
But now Mayora has found herself at the centre of ‘O-bum-a-gate’, the ‘did he or didn’t he’ question that is causing controversy around the world.
Video evidence has thrown doubt on the fact that Barack Obama was checking her out. But it now doesn’t look good for President Sarkozy…

The girl who appeared to have caught the eye of US President Barack Obama and that of his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy at the G-8 summit in Italy has been identified as a 17-year-old social activist.
Mayora Tavares shot to fame overnight after a photograph depicting Obama seemingly looking at her bottom while Sarkozy also appeared to be taking in the view was published on news websites across the globe.
The Brazilian woman, a Rio de Janeiro resident, was reportedly selected to participate in the Junior G8 summit after working on a human rights …

The US media is having a field day with this picture from the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington on Saturday, with tongue-in-cheek accusations that President Barack Obama and comedian Jay Leno were caught “checking out” First Lady Michelle Obama’s bottom. “Barack Obama is clearly enjoying this glitzy dinner for more than the good food — as he appears to feast his eyes on his wife’s buns,” the mirror.co.uk reported. “In fact, all eyes seemed to be on the First Lady’s rear as comic Jay Leno also took a peek,” it added.
